This is an interesting story about the adventure Kim’s ancestors had migrating into America in 1898 to the early 1900’s. Her private experiences give to the heartfelt memories of reading this book.

The cover art is what drew me to this book. However what was inside is what kept me from putting it down. Kim shares her journey of discovery in an honest and meaningful way. While I appreciated the double meaning of “father” as in the Almighty one and her own “father,” the real story here is her growth and acceptance not just as a believer but as a one who perseveres. Her honest self examination is inspiring. Great book from a great author!
